On Sunday, September 27th, at Homestead-Miami Speedway, J&W Motorsports hosted the Porsche Corral for the members of the Gold Coast Region Porsche Club of America. Members experienced parade laps and enjoyed company from fellow members while having a delicious lunch. Not to the mention the beautiful Porsche vehicles gleaming in the sun. Thank you Gold Coast Region.
The Gold Coast is the largest region in Zone 12. The Gold Coast Region today has 1,500+ members and currently encompasses Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties.

Homestead FL. - In support of Keep Our Streets Safe (K.O.S.S.), join us every Friday night at the Homestead-Miami Speedway for 1/8th mile drag test and tune nights. If you have a street legal vehicle and would like to test the power and speed of your car, then this is the place for you to put the pedal to the metal! Every Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
To participate in the event the cost per vehicle is $20 for the night. For more information please contact J&W Motorsports.
The pre race showcase promoted Keep Our Streets Safe (K.O.S.S.). K.O.S.S. is a non-for-profit organization emphasizing safe driving in the community, also it promotes safe and controlled street car racing at quarter mile tracks. Keeping our streets safe is the number one priority. Co-founder of J&W Motorsports and co-founder of K.O.S.S., Juan Herrara was interviewed by CBS 4 TV Miami, FL. Juan informed CBS 4 the importance of safe driving and establishing a place for racing street cars. Formula and Automobile Racing Association (FARA) presents 2009 Championship 2 hour race on Sunday, December 21, 2008. Drivers, Omar Rodriguez and Hiram Cruz finished 1st position of the endurance race. Hiram, former Le Mans driver, started the race and Omar got into the high performance car during the team's only pit stop. Omar drove the car until crossing the checkered flag then head to victory lane to celebrate. The Positive Output Porsche 997 finished 1st overall in all classes and 1st in the MP-2 class. J&W Motorsports were guiding the number 7 car to the checkered flag after many laps of full speed racing.
The race marks the second consecutive race where Omar and Hiram achieved to stand vistoriously on the podium. September 2008, the drivers finished the race 1st and 3rd positions. Omar drove the number 7, Porsche 997 and Hiram drove the number 34 to a 1st place victory.
